About Greta

I am expanded by words and ideas. I am fueled by connection and courage. I am a big thinker with radical love as both my driving force and aspiration.

Atul Gawande’s book Being Mortal changed my life and how I wanted to die. Paul Kalanithi’s book When Breath Becomes Air changed my understanding of death and how I wanted to live.

Kalanithi observes that we are each “overlapping.” Yes, that’s it. We are overlapping. Overlapping with our parents, partners, siblings, children, friends, and the global community. Liminal Connections is my gesture to overlap with you.

In spring 2021 I completed International End of Life Doula Association (INELDA) training to become an end of life doula. It was a rich training experience that I found invigorating and an affirmation that end of life doula work would be both beneficial to others and personally meaningful to me.

Also in spring 2021 I completed Group Peer Support (GPS) group facilitator training. The tenets of the format and process of the GPS model grant grace and non-judgment, safety, and trust in our abilities to navigate life.

These skills couple with my experience as a hospice volunteer, my belief that we can help each other, and my knowing that there is much we can do to heal and grow even through the dying process.

I am committed to serving the BIPOC and LGBTQI+ communities, to making my services affordable to those in need, and to creating brave and tender spaces for our individual and collective growth.

Please reach out to me if I may be of service to you now or in the future.
